Barrington

Known for top schools and an abundance of waterfront property, Barrington is often recognized as one of the most desirable towns in Rhode Island. Due to its proximity to Providence, many commuters choose to make Barrington their home, including some of the state’s top professionals and government officials. Similar to East Greenwich, with the aforementioned schools being a top priority for the town, Barrington does have a relatively high property tax rate. However, many folks still choose to make Barrington their home, as this riverside community sandwiched between the Barrington and Warren Rivers, would be nearly impossible to replicate, even if you could start from scratch.
